Thank you for your generous support!

The Development Office of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Immaculate Conception (also known as the Heading Avenue Franciscans) is responsible for promoting public awareness of the sisters' mission and raising funds to support their various ministries which include: education, care of the elderly, adult literacy, campus ministry, counseling, social work, spirituality, and the diaconate and Teens Encounter Christ programs. The Development Office also helps provide funding for the Sisters' Retirement Fund and for care of the retired sisters at Mother of Peace Home. In addition, support is provided for the maintenance of the buildings and property owned by the sisters.

The Development Office is responsible for creating the Franciscan Prints newsletter that is published semi-annually. Our major fund-raisers include the Rolan Johnson Christmas Ornaments, our winter Annual Appeal mailing, the "Your Table is Ready" Dinner/Auction held in March or April, and our "Count Your Blessings" Raffle held each spring. In addition, the sisters are the recipients of memorial contributions and bequests from our donors. The sisters are always interested in new ways to help promote their mission and increase their retirement fund through special projects.

The sisters rely greatly on the kindness and generosity of donors to help further and continue their mission. All contributions are tax-deductible. Please consider remembering them in your will or estate plans.

If you would like to receive more information about us and/or our ministries, make a donation, or be added to our mailing lists, please contact our development officer.
